The best way to choose a hall is to stand inside it. Walk the stage, sit in the front row, step onto the verandah and see the sea — you'll know. Bring your decorator and photographer if you want; the more eyes the better.
If you're calling from outside Kerala or from the Gulf, we do live WhatsApp video walks with our coordinator — you navigate, they show you every corner, the bridal suite, the kitchen, the parking. Call or message to fix a time.
Miya Convention sits on Snehatheeram Road, NH 66. Easy access from Thrissur city and from Kochi. Auto and cab drop-off right at the entrance. Ample parking on-site. The Arabian Sea beach is a 2-minute walk — plan a pre-wedding shoot while you're here.
How far in advance should I book?
Wedding season (October–March) fills 6–8 months out. If you have a specific Malayalam calendar date, book as soon as the astrologer confirms. Off-season (April–September) can often be confirmed 2–3 months ahead.
What's the advance payment to lock the date?
30% of the total package locks your date. Balance is due 7 days before the event. For NRI families, wire transfer, NRE cheque, UPI and card all accepted.
Can we use our own decorator?
Yes. Decorators get access from 5am on the wedding day. Bring your own or we can recommend florists and decor studios in Thrissur that have worked here before.
Is the kitchen Halal-certified?
Yes. We maintain a fully Halal supply chain on request — separate utensils, certified suppliers, no cross-contamination. Halal certificate available on request for the nikah spread package.
Can we book two halls for a two-day programme?
Absolutely. Multi-day, multi-hall bookings get a coordinated package rate. Grand + Classic for a large wedding week is the most common combination — call to discuss.
Is there a generator / power backup?
Full generator backup across all halls, lighting, sound and kitchen. No unplanned outage during an event since we opened.
